DIMAPUR — Chairman of the Committee on Public Undertakings (COPU), Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Imkong L Imchen, accompanied by the members of the committee including Hekani Jakhalu, Dr. Neisatuo Mero, Sethrongkyu and officials from the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat on August 30 undertook an ‘On-the-spot verification’ of the two multi-level car parking (MLCP) buildings located at Old Medical Directorate and Old NST, Kohima. In a press release, the Assembly Secretariat informed that the committee physically inspected the two sites and also visited the office of the CEO, Kohima Smart City Development Ltd. (KSCDL) under the Department of Municipal Affairs. The MLCP at Old Medical Directorate (5 storey) built at a cost of INR 3I2I.90 lakh has the capacity to accommodate 150 vehicles and 67 shops, while the MLCP at Old NST (7 storey) built at a cost of INR 2878.10 lakh can accommodate 120 vehicles and 16 shops.
