IMPHAL — In a major political development, the National People’s Party (NPP), a coalition partner in Manipur’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government, on Sunday withdrew its support expressing deep concern over the prevailing law and order situation in the state. In an official letter addressed to the BJP national president, JP Nadda, which was made available to media on Sunday evening, the NPP national president, Conrad K Sangma, has expressed concern over the prevailing law and order situation in the state of Manipur.
