GUWAHATI — The Assam assembly will discontinue with the two-hour break provided on Fridays to facilitate Muslim legislators to offer ‘namaz’, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said. The rule will be implemented from the next session, the state’s Parliamentary Affairs Minister said.
