Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 20: The A&N State Sub Junior (U15) Chess Championship 2024 commenced this morning at the PBMC Community Hall, Dairy Farm, Port Blair, amidst much enthusiasm and excitement. The event was inaugurated by Smti. Jaya Sivasankar, Principal of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Port Blair, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She made the ceremonial move on the top board, officially marking the beginning of the championship in presence of Shri. V.K. Najib Siddique, proprietor of SIDZERN and the sponsor of the event adding significance to the occasion.
