New Delhi, Oct. 16: Admiral DK Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands & Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency on visit to New Delhi met Hon'ble Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh. Hon’ble Lt. Governor apprised the Hon'ble Minister about the leverages and unique geographical advantages with 1/3^rd of the country's Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZs) in Andaman Waters. Hon’ble Lt. Governor also outlined the tremendous untapped potential in the Fisheries and Marine products segment. He detailed the efforts of A & N Administration in getting the Offices of Marine Product Export Development Authority (MPEDA) and Export Inspection Council (EIC) established in Sri Vijaya Puram.
