Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 26: Internationally renowned scientist Padmashree Dr Ajay Kumar Sonkar told that the provision for the use of pesticides per hectare in India is the lowest in the world, only six hundred grams per hectare, whereas in Europe it is five to seven kilograms per hectare, the maximum pesticide use in China is thirteen kilograms per hectare. You might be surprised to know that despite this, the fruits and vegetables consumed in India are more poisonous than in other countries.
