As Sirsa district prepares for the upcoming Assembly elections, on Friday, two political leaders will showcase their strength in the district. Punjab Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Bhagwant Mann will address a 'Badlav Jansabha' in Dabwali, and former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda is set to hold a an event for Congress workers in Sirsa.

According to information, Mann will address the 'Badlav Jansabha' at Dabwali's grain market. While AAP and Congress were part of the INDIA alliance in the Lok Sabha elections and contested together on the Kurukshetra seat in Haryana, they would now compete separately in the Assembly elections. AAP was targeting the Punjabi belt near the Punjab border, where they could field their candidates.

District AAP leader Pradeep Sachdeva said the party would kickstart its campaigning with a rally in Dabwali on July 26. The rally will feature Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann as the keynote speaker, along with party's state president Sushil Gupta, senior vice-president Anurag Dhanda and Punjab's Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian.

Sachdeva said this rally at Dabwali's grain market would showcase the popularity of AAP among the public.

On Friday, former Chief Minister of the state Bhupinder Singh Hooda will also address a thanksgiving conference for Congress workers in Sirsa.
