Rewari, July 25

Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Bhuupinder Singh Hooda will address the party workers' meeting at Yadav Dharamshala in Rewari on July 27.

Local Congress MLA Chiranjeev Rao, while sharing the information during a press conference here, said people had ensured the victory of the Congress party on five seats in the state in the recent Lok Sabha elections, hence the former CM had been touring every district to thank the party workers as well as the electors.

He said state Congress president Udaybhan, Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda, former MP Raj Babbar and former minister Captain Ajay Singh Yadav would also be present at the workers' meeting.

Talking about the Budget presented by the Union Finance Minister, Rao said it was not a Budget but an attempt to save the Prime Minister's chair. The funds were allocated to Bihar and Andhra Pradesh as the Modi government was running on the crutches of these states, he added.

"It seems that the BJP government has accepted its defeat in the upcoming Assembly elections in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand by giving nothing to such states in the Budget while the Haryana CM had demanded a special Budget. Moreover, the Budget has also disappointed the poor, unemployed, farmers, women and other sections of society," said the MLA.

Rao claimed that the BJP government had failed on all fronts. Following which, Haryana had become number one in inflation, unemployment and corruption. "Law and order has collapsed. That's why, people have halved the BJP seats in the state in the Lok Sabha elections and will oust it from power in the upcoming Assembly elections. The Congress will form the government in the state," he claimed.
