
The Pakistan high commission in New Delhi issued 154 visas to Indian pilgrims to visit the Shree Katas Raj temples in Punjab's Chakwal district from February 24 to March 2. Under the 1974 Pakistan-India Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines, thousands of Indian pilgrims visit Pakistan annually. Pakistan’s charge d'affaires, Saad Ahmad Warraich, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting interfaith harmony and facilitating such religious visits.
