A Kansas University professor was placed on administrative leave after a recorded class session in which he suggested men who wouldn't vote for a female president should be shot. The instructor expressed deep regret, and the university said it is investigating the incident placing the instructor on leave. "His intent was to emphasize his advocacy for women's rights and equality, and he recognizes he did a very poor job of doing so. The university has an established process for situations like this and will follow that process," the university said.
