WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Super League season starts tomorrow afternoon with last year’s champions London Lions visiting Manchester at the National Basketball Performance Centre.

The Lions narrowly escaped liquidation in the summer and lost all of the squad that had also won the EuroCup after their previous owners, online gaming company 777, collapsed.

The Lions men’s and women’s teams were taken over by Latvia’s Zalgiris Kaunus club in August.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: The Scottish Premiership’s remaining 100 per cent records clash when Celtic host Aberdeen tomorrow.

Celtic currently top the table on goal difference, having only conceded once in their opening seven games.

MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: Wakefield are looking to bounce straight back into the Super League when they meet Toulouse in tomorrow evening’s promotion deciding Championship Grand Final.

Wakefield lost only once, 32-4 in Toulouse, in winning the Championship by 13 points from the French club during the regular season.

Toulouse lost to London, who are being relegated after just one season back in Super League, at last year’s Championship Grand Final.

MEN’S BOXING: Unbeaten European super-lightweight title holder Adam Azim faces former British and Commonwealth champion Ohara Davies in London tonight.

Slough-born Azim has won eight of his 11 bouts by knock-out. On the undercard light-heavyweight Anthony Yarde returns to the ring after a nine-month break to fight Latvia’s Ralfs Vilcans Yarde lost to new undisputed world champion Artur Beterbiev in a title fight back in January 2023.
