We are really being given every detail of the astronauts’ return to earth, including that they essentially just tightened their seatbelts for their return.

We recently heard on the live feed “tablets are secured, restraints are tight, and visors down,” which was further explained by Kate Tice as meaning that “Per their instructions, Crew 9 has now put away everything that is necessary in order to to begin their reentry,” including tightening their safety harnesses.
