Police say incident being treated as an ‘attempted murder, arson and aggravated weapons offence’

Five people have been shot in an attack in the Swedish city of Örebro, triggering a massive emergency response.

“Five persons are confirmed shot,” police said in a statement on Tuesday, adding that their condition was unknown. “This is currently seen as attempted murder, arson and aggravated weapons offence.”
