Teenager held on suspicion of murder after boy stabbed in stomach on Tuesday afternoon in Hall Green area

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 12-year-old boy was stabbed to death while walking home from school in Birmingham.

West Midlands police said the victim was found by a member of the public on Tuesday afternoon after being stabbed in the stomach, before he was taken to hospital. He died from his injuries that evening.
