First use of weapons since Joe Biden lifted restrictions came hours after Vladimir Putin signed nuclear decree

Moscow has said Ukraine fired six US-made ACTCMs at Russia’s Bryansk region, in what would be the first use of the weapons since the Joe Biden administration lifted restrictions.

Russia’s defence ministry said in a statement that its military shot down five of them and damaged one more. It added that fragments fell overnight on the territory of an unmanned military facility.
