Mourning families lay flowers at Auburn South primary school after boy died and four other students were injured in Hawthorn East crash
Members of a Melbourne primary school community are laying flowers to pay tribute to an 11-year-old boy, killed in a crash in the school yard, with Jacinta Allan describing feeling sick to the stomach after learning of his death.
Four other children – three girls and a boy – remain in hospital after the crash at the Auburn South primary school in Hawthorn East, in Melbourne’s east, which occurred at about 2.30pm on Tuesday. The school on Wednesday morning confirmed grade 5 student Jack Davey had died in the collision.
