Saturday morning showers will make way for a top of 29C on Sunday and 27C Monday, good news for NRL and NRLW fans headed to grand finals

Blue skies and sunshine are on the way for New South Wales this long weekend with Sydney forecast to reach the high 20s on Sunday and during Monday’s public holiday.

Stephen Stefanac, a meteorologist at the Bureau of Meteorology, said Friday was looking dry for Sydney with a top of 23C, with mostly sunny weather becoming increasing cloudy later in day.
