Biden says he plans to visit affected areas after devastating storm destroys entire communities across several states

As the south-east US continues recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene’s devastation, the storm’s death toll keeps climbing, with more than 120 killed across several states.

Joe Biden said on Monday morning that he was planning to visit the areas affected by Helene on Wednesday or Thursday, as long as it does not disrupt rescue and recovery operations.
