Support for our players shouldn’t be conditional, say five-a-side players in Stratford, east London

At Chobham Academy’s football pitch in Stratford, East London, a group of friends gathered last week to play their ­regular five-a-side as anticipation built for a historic Euros final.

Pratham Hingorani, a 24-year-old IT project manager who has lived in England for seven years, said: “I don’t really watch football, but the fact that England have got so far has had me glued to the TV.” Asked who he thinks will win tonight, he said: “My heart says England.”
