A BBC presenter whose wife and two of their daughters were murdered by a misogynist with a crossbow has made an emotional plea to end the cycle of women trapped in abusive relationships.

On the day that the former soldier Kyle Clifford was sentenced to a whole life order for the triple murders in July 2024, John Hunt used an address to court to describe Clifford as a psychopath disguised as an ordinary human being.
