Suspect sectioned under the Mental Health Act and arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon

A man has been arrested after a bow and arrow were found in a car parked next to the House of Lords.

The Metropolitan police said the man had been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, breaching Serious Organised Crime and Police Act legislation, and vehicle interference.
