Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in medical student dreams of offering 'culturally safe care'

Jamie Thomas is returning to Nova Scotia — this time for medical school. The Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in citizen and Dawson City resident completed her undergraduate degree at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish. She's one of almost 25 interns who’ve been part of a special initiative at Yukon hospitals through First Nations Health.
